Amrita joined C. S. Kelkar & Associates as a Partner in the year 2008. With a diverse work experience of 16 years, she regularly advises in the areas of setting up wholly-owned subsidiaries / Joint Ventures / Branch Offices / Liaison Office in India, corporate restructuring including M&A activities, mergers, demergers, capital reduction, structuring of transactions, inbound and outbound investment, providing legal opinions on various matters relating to Companies Act and other Corporate Laws, data room creation, liquidation of Companies under Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code.

She is regularly involved in drafting of various legal agreements including share purchase agreement (SPA), share subscription and shareholders agreements (SSSA), joint venture agreement, transaction documentation, etc. Majority of her clients are wholly owned subsidiaries of MNCs.
